announced the newest addition to its Prima Plus Class, the Norwegian Luna™. This all-new ship, marking the 21st in NCL’s cutting-edge fleet, is now open for bookings, and its inaugural voyages promise a luxurious escape to some of the Caribbean’s most stunning destinations.
Sailing the Caribbean in Style
Set to debut in April 2026, Norwegian Luna will offer a range of sun-soaked roundtrip voyages from Miami through November 2026. Its maiden Caribbean season will feature two distinct western Caribbean itineraries, visiting Roatan Island, Honduras; Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico; and Harvest Caye, Belize. For those seeking eastern Caribbean adventures, Norwegian Luna will also embark on seven-day cruises to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; Tortola, British Virgin Islands; St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; and Great Stirrup Cay, NCL’s private island in the Bahamas. By late 2025, Great Stirrup Cay will even feature a brand-new pier, making it more accessible than ever.
Bigger and Better: Norwegian Luna’s Design
At over 1,056 feet in length and accommodating approximately 3,550 guests at double occupancy, Norwegian Luna will be a major upgrade, with a 10% increase in size and capacity compared to the already impressive Norwegian Prima® and Norwegian Viva®. Designed as the twin sister to the upcoming Norwegian Aqua, both ships are being crafted by renowned Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri. World-class architects like AD Associates, Piero Lissoni, Rockwell Group, SMC Design, and Studio Dado are contributing to the interior designs, ensuring a stunning and upscale experience throughout.

One of the most striking features of Norwegian Luna is the hull art created by acclaimed street artist ELLE, who has previously collaborated with brands like Nike and Ralph Lauren. Titled ‘La Luna,’ the artwork is a vibrant dreamscape reflecting humanity’s deep connection to the celestial forces of space and the ocean’s tides. ELLE’s artwork will proudly grace the bow of the ship, symbolizing the epic journeys Norwegian Luna will embark upon.
Thrills and Relaxation Onboard
For thrill-seekers, Norwegian Luna offers some of the most exciting onboard attractions. Guests can experience the Aqua Slidecoaster, a hybrid rollercoaster and waterslide that will debut on Norwegian Aqua and set the bar as the longest and fastest slide at sea. The ship also features a digital sports complex, Glow Court, which transforms into a nightclub by night. And, of course, returning favorites like The Drop, a 10-story free-fall slide, will continue to offer adrenaline-pumping experiences.
For those looking to unwind in luxury, Norwegian Luna will introduce the Three-Bedroom Duplex Haven Suites in the exclusive keycard-access-only Haven by Norwegian®. These two-story suites offer separate living and dining areas, three bathrooms, and a private balcony. Guests in The Haven will enjoy 24-hour butler service, access to a private infinity pool, a sundeck, and an outdoor spa complete with a glass-walled sauna and cold room.
Culinary Delights and Unmatched Dining Experiences
Norwegian Luna will continue NCL’s tradition of offering world-class dining options, including the debut of Sukhothai, a Thai specialty restaurant, and the Indulge Food Hall, which features 10 diverse food stations, including the plant-based Planterie. Signature favorites like Cagney’s Steakhouse, Le Bistro, and Onda by Scarpetta will also be available. Guests can also indulge in handcrafted cocktails at various bars, including the award-winning Metropolitan Sail & Sustain cocktail bar.
