If you’re planning a cruise for 2025 or beyond, there’s exciting news on the horizon. Beginning October 1, 2024, for sailings starting January 1, 2025, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is launching an enhancement to the Free At Sea program. The enhanced program is called More at Sea. These upgrades are set to make your cruise experience more indulgent and hassle-free, with a focus on better inclusions and higher quality amenities. Let’s dive into the details of this exciting enhancement and what you can expect with this new offering.
NCL More at Sea Benefits
1. More Beverage Inclusions
The newly introduced More at Sea Beverage Package brings significant upgrades. Premium brands like Casamigos tequila, Grey Goose vodka, and Woodford Reserve bourbon will now be included without any upcharges. Gratuities will also be taken care of, so there’s no need to purchase the Premium Plus Beverage or Free at Sea Plus packages anymore. This means you can enjoy your favorite top-shelf drinks without extra costs. The Premium Plus Beverage and Free at Sea Plus Package will discontinue. The upgraded packages will be removed (refunded if you already purchased it) and all guests sailing in 2025 and beyond will be able to take advantage of the enhanced beverage offerings at no additional cost. Starbucks and water bottles are not included in More at Sea Beverage Package. Everyone in the cabin 21 and older will receive the package.
2. More Specialty Dining Nights
Dining experiences onboard are about to get even better. With enhanced Specialty Dining nights, guests will have more opportunities to indulge in specialty restaurants. The number of included specialty dining nights will depend on the length of the cruise and the stateroom category. (See chart below) Each meal will offer a generous selection: up to three appetizers, one soup or salad, one entrée, and up to three desserts. Should anyone feel extra indulgent, additional entrées can be purchased at ‘à la carte’ prices listed on the menu. As with the beverage package, gratuities are already included, making for a smooth and transparent dining experience. PAckage is good for guest 1 & 2.
3. More (and Faster) Wi-Fi
One of the most exciting updates is the enhancement to onboard internet. More at Sea will now include high-speed Wi-Fi powered by Starlink, making it easier to stay connected at sea. Unlike previous packages, the new Wi-Fi benefit will be available for all guests in the stateroom, not just guests 1 and 2. This ensures that everyone can enjoy the enhanced connectivity.
Existing Benefits That Will Continue
In addition to these new enhancements, some fan-favorite perks will remain part of the package, including:
1. Shore Excursion Credits
The $50 Shore Excursion Credit will continue to be available per eligible guest for each shore excursion. It’s a great way to maximize your onshore experiences, as the credit can be applied to multiple excursions in the same port.
2. Free Airfare for 2nd Guest
You can still benefit from NCL’s Free Airfare for the 2nd Guest promotion. When you buy a plane ticket, the second person flies for free. If there’s a need for specific flight itineraries, NCL’s Interactive Air program provides a customizable air schedule.
3. 3rd and 4th Guests Sail Free
The ever-popular 3rd and 4th guests sail free offer is here to stay. On select sailings, you can have the 3rd and 4th guests join you for free with a deposit of just $99.
4. NCL APP
You can download the new ‘Norwegian Cruise Line’ app from the Apple Store or Google play to view comprehensive onboard schedules, exciting port features, personal documents, and more.
