Hawaii! Take me back!

Today is Thursday and across social media you will find many #TBT or Throwback Thursday posts. I was thinking about a Throwback Thursday to post for my Instagram page when I realized that 15 years ago today my husband and I were ending a beautiful 2 week honeymoon to Hawaii.

While in Hawaii, we spread the 2 weeks over 3 islands; Oahu, Kauai and Maui. One of the many things I loved about Hawaii is that each island has it’s own unique identity and charm. Oahu is more “city like”, Kauai is more countryside and Maui is just…paradise. Can you tell it was my favorite? haha Click on this link to learn more about Maui.  Although we could’ve laid on the beautiful white sand beach all day, we also ventured into the islands to see some attractions. We visited Pearl Harbor, Diamond Head Park, Hawaii-Island-ScenicWaimea Canyon, watched the sunrise at the top of Haleakala National Park and then Tom, my husband, was brave enough to bike ride down a volcano. We went to a Luau and rode a helicopter over the volcanoes in Maui. The people are so friendly and the food was delicious. We didn’t want to leave! Although we feel we did a lot during our time there, there is certainly so much more to see, learn and explore!

Hawaii is a tropical paradise and it’s perfect for that romantic honeymoon. But it’s also a wonderful destination for the family, golf lovers and adventurers.

Another way to visit the different islands is Norwegian’s Cruise Line’s Pride of America. It’s the only cruise line that only sails just in Hawaii with stops in Oahu, The Big Island of Hawaii, Kauai and Maui year round.
