Getting ready for your cruise?
One small step that can make embarkation day way smoother is having your luggage tags printed and ready to go.
If you’re sailing with Royal Caribbean or Celebrity Cruises, the process is simple — and I’ll walk you through it step by step.

🔐 Step 1: Log Into Your Cruise Account
Head over to the cruise line’s website and log into your account.
👉 Since Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises are sister brands, the process is exactly the same for both.
Once logged in:
- Go to “My Reservation”
📄 Step 2: Find Your Luggage Tags
Inside your reservation, you’ll see all your cruise details.
👉 Your luggage tags typically become available:
- About 30 days before sailing
Look for:
- “View & Print Documents”
- Then select “Print Luggage Tags”
🖨 Step 3: Download & Print
Your luggage tags will open as a PDF file.
From here:
- Download the file
- Click print
💡 Pro Tip:
Use a color printer if possible — it helps port staff quickly identify your luggage and get it to your cabin faster.
✂️ Step 4: Cut & Fold Your Tags
Once printed:
- Cut along the lines
- Fold as indicated
👉 Take your time here — clean folding helps prevent issues at the port.
🧷 Step 5: Attach to Your Luggage
You’ve got a couple of options:
Option 1:
- Staple or tape the tag securely around your bag
Option 2 (Recommended):
👉 These:
- Protect your tags from tearing or water
- Stay secure during handling
- Can be reused for future cruises
✈️ Important Tip If You’re Flying
If you’re flying to your cruise port:
👉 Wait until you land to attach your luggage tags
Why?
- Airlines can damage or remove them
- You don’t want to risk losing your tag before you even get to the port
🚢 Final Thoughts
Printing your luggage tags ahead of time is a small step — but it makes a big difference on embarkation day.
You’ll:
- Save time
- Avoid confusion
- Get your luggage delivered faster
And that means you can start enjoying your cruise sooner.
